Bounce
To end the term we are off to bounce in Takanini - it now has its own parkour and rock climbig course as well as the tramp park making it the perfect cross for our to sports as we lead into term 3.

E Camp is for our intermediates at Amped. (amped +) An awesome weekend we the kids get to experience all sorts of cool activities plus discover more of Jesus love for them.
Where:
Finlay Park Adventure Camp, Lake Karapiro.
Cost : 200 dollars per person.

Hi team sadly due to weather conditions effecting the farm we do not have enough leaders this weekend to make it a safe event for everyone son re have had to cancel.- So there will be no amped this weekend .
We are meeting up at Bens Porter (one of our leaders ) farm at 10am
We will 4WD down to the back of Bens farm around 10:45 am where we will set up base.
After before we will do a short creek mission / walk up to a waterfall
We will provide some Suauges on a BBQ for everyone to eat for lunch - just bring some extra food for snacks if you family needs some
From there we will 4WD back up to the top of the farm and head home - leaving around 2 pm

We will be down the down the bottom of the farm for 3 - 4 hours with no toilets - so bring some toilet paper and be prepared !!!
We team have postponed Hide and Seek Due to the weather and are now doing night games at the church - including a boomer trial, Easter egg hunt, glow I the dark nerf wars and more.
Taking a leaf out of the X-Race our kids will be Participant will doing there very own - using a map to find the locations around the church kids will be taking on various challenges in teams.

Where: Botanic Gardens
We are meeting at the gardens side of the cafe at the Gardens.
Kids will be further developing their mapping skills. Tonight the kids in teams will be using a map of the botanical gardens to find various locations and take on different challenges.
The drop off and pick up point will be in the same location and we ask you to come by 7:45 pm - 15 minutes earlier for pick up in order to get into the car park.
Kids will need shoes (as we will be walking over 1 km), a drink bottle and also make sure they come dressed for the weather conditions.
Kids will be developing their mapping skills. Tonight the kids will designing their own treasure maps using the church buildings , hiding treasure and seeing if their peers can follow their map and the treasure.

It was awesome seeing so many of you on Beach day - But for the families who could not make - we are bring some of fun back to amped tonight with adventure mini golf - where the kids will using and shooting frisbees, slingshots, arrows and golf clubs to complete the course.

This is our annuel Beach Dayi at Merc - This time we are combining with the wider church Whanau - We have a full day of activities - including an outdoor escape room challenge - Adventure Mini golf and a top town event.
COST:
The cost 15 per person or max 50 per family for a full days activities and suagage sizzle lunch provided with under 5s free.

Hi Amped families this Sunday we will be creating some space during the service for you to pray for your kids as they start a new year at school. The kids will receive a special Kinder, Wiser, Braver keyring bag tag that they can proudly place on their school bags. They'll also get a 3-day devotional and 6 awesome stationary items! Three of these items are for them to keep, and three are for them to give away. These gifts serve as reminders that they have a loving family, a supportive church Whānau, and a God who is FOR them. As they begin the school year, they can carry this love with them and share it with their classmates. We can't wait to see you all there.
During the message Upstreet and transit kids go out like normal, but will combine for a time where the kids get their devotionals and chose their stationary.
Kids can bring in their school bags to put the tags on and put stationary in them.
Due a Waitangi weekend and our term leaders meeting Amped will be starting back for the kids on Friday the 21st feb - we will posting soon to let you know some of the cool things planned for this term.

You will pick your own packs up on the day - there will have your names logged in.Come early ( 8am ) for bike set and transition set up - you will avoids the worst of the traffic and then the kids get to a free yum as breakfast from the breakfast tent. They have heaps of food tents and Bp just across the road for us adults who need a money fix or recharge.
Kids bring
-Bikes and Helmets ( unless you are borrowing an amped bike - it will be at the park waiting for you )
2 pairs of shoes - one pair will left in transition
A transition box to put your stuff in ( plastic is best )
Togs ( wear them under your clothes so you don’t need to get changes )
Packed lunch and 2 water bottles 1 for transition and one for the rest fo the day.
Sun screen and a hat

A camping chair (there is a lot of down time )

It’s our superhero dance party !!! A chance for our kids to invite their mates to our awesome superhero dance party as a positive alternative to all the not so cool halloween stuff . There will be super hero challenges, heaps of follies a super cool disco and more. This year to help with it easy as possible for kids to invite their mates we have moved all out ticketing online - so you can purchase you tickets here
